Tracing Your Roots

The Clan O'Reilly were the rulers of Breffni, an area which approximates the present east Cavan. The last clan chieftain was Annadh, who died in 1220. Another clan were the O'Rourkes, who controlled the territory which lies roughly south of Lough Erne.
