Fri 9th May 2008
The organisers of Ireland’s largest amateur 4-day cycling event are calling on the people of Cavan come out and experience the thrill of a major cycling event as it arrives into Cavan town.  Over 300 cyclists accompanied by 60 support staff will arrive into Farnham Street, Cavan town on Friday 9th May from 2.30pm onwards, finishing at the Courthouse. Over the course of the 4-day event the cyclists will travel over 500 miles crossing all provinces of Ireland. All proceeds from the event will go to the National Council for the Blind of Ireland.
