Play for Today- Visual Art exhibition. Curated by Dermot Browne
Johnston Central Library & Farnham Centre.
This exhibition will offer the viewer a rare moment to come into the gallery space and find that art can be seriously funny. This exhibition should appeal to younger viewers, featuring work of Micheal Cullen, Kelly Ratchford, Brian Duggan, Caroline McCarthy, John Kindness, Efrain Almeida and Dermot Browne.

Cavan Summer Festival
The first Cavan Summer Festival will be spread throughout Cavan Town, with the main events taking place in a world famous Spiegeltent. While the Spiegeltent has visited Ireland before, it has never made it beyond the cities until now!
Choral, traditional, jazz, show bands, bluegrass and contemporary music, a new production by Livin Dred Theatre Company and a giant street pageant will be held. Circus, Puppetry, Theatre, DJ classes and a music master class with Kila. This be complimented by a fringe festival of visual arts exhibitions, free street theatre performances and number of gigs which will take place in Market Square.
