POL Ó'Ds is a busy restaurant in a 200 year old stone building on 2 floors with a great atmosphere, excellent food and friendly staff.  One of the most popular restaurants in Cavan Pol Ó Ds also attracts customers from the surrounding counties as well as tourists to the area.  Prior booking in essential as it books up quickly at weekends.
 
The varied menu includes Smoked Duck Salad, Goats Cheese, Spicy Chicken Goujons to name a few starters.  Main courses include favourites such as Crispy Duck with a plum and orange sauce or Thai Salmon Fillet with brown rice and roast vegetables and a choice of Steaks and lots more.  Leave room for a delicious dessert, such as Hot Chocolate Pudding with chocolate sauce, Poached Pear with caramel sauce or the all time favourite Apple Crumble and POL Ó'D's famous homemade ice-cream - expect flavours of brown bread, cinnamon, rum & raisin and even meringue ice-cream!  All desserts are natually home made in POL O'D's kitchen.
